Nango Hèping

Because of her very androgynous appearance, Nango is often mistaken for the third boy in her sibling group and honestly, they don't care at all ! Just like they don't care about gender norms and don’t mind being identified as male, female, or neither. The truth is, they don't really try to look a certain way or appear particularly feminine. But they don’t go out of their way to pass as a boy either ! It all pretty much goes over their head. They just dresses however they want and acts however they please !

A bit reckless and very carefree, Nango tends to dive in without thinking and often underestimates the dangers or obstacles in their path. That’s not to say they don’t learn from their mistakes ! But it might take two, three, or four falls before they realize that jumping farther won’t solve the problem ! Nango is stubborn, but also highly athletic, which constantly pushes them to try harder! Add to that their hyperactive temperament, and you get a ball of energy always ready to burn off some steam !

Needless to say, their parents had a hard time keeping them in check... Luckily, just like their mother, Nango adores children ! But unlike their mother, they never wear her out, it’s actually the opposite ! So the perfect solution for Dango was to make Nango her childcare assistant ! She started taking them on her daily runs and signing them up for all sorts of athletic activities. As you’ve probably guessed, Nango has a lot more in common with their mother than with their father, though he doesn’t love them any less for it. :heart:

Over time, Nango has become an accomplished runner, fast, agile, and enduring ! That’s when they got the idea to offer their services to the local postal system, and now they spend their days running all over the place delivering mail ! Alongside that, they continues their athletic training and teache children how to run and jump. More recently, they're also volunteered at the orphanage run by Vashaa, helping to care for the orphans while the Elder is suffering under Zhousi’s control... Their father's story deeply moved them...
