A normal tail with harder hair at the tip. The tip is shaped like a spear tip.

A tail which has the tip start earlier on the tail. The end curls upwards.

This tail has only 1 strand of hair, whereas the other has 1 on each side. The afghan tail does NOT have scales on the bottom of the tail.
