Wonderous Wishing Well
The wishing well is a random, raffle-based activity. Once a month every player can throw in coins to wish for a prize! Every wish will win something, with rewards ranging from coins to familiar items or aesthetic items. The most valued prize is the Elder's Tear. Ready to try your luck?
To play, choose a character, the number of coins you'd like to toss into the well, and provide a short story (2-5 sentences) describing how your character places their coins into the well.
When you are ready, click "Make a Wish" to submit your story and receive your prize!

"Ahh, you're so dirty!" Adira had a soft sea sponge and some fresh water at hand. Humming softly to herself, the aquatic began to scrub down the old gray stones that made up the well. Covered in scuff marks and alge and other such things from outsiders, the well looked unkempt. Taking pity on the source of water that had once helped keep her hydrated while hatching her familiar, the aquatic cleaned it thoroughly and rinsed it off. "There! Much better!" And with the flick of her hand a golden coin plopped into its waters.

The ice Shiji fumed in frustration as she approached the well. It had been a horrid day, and she wasn't in the mood for the silliness being insisted by her peers. She threw her coins into the well with the same furor she would use when throwing a punch, and tapped her foot impatiently to see what, if anything, would emerge.

Taking note of the recent hostile receptions spied from others when they approach the well, Nodd stared suspiciously at the well from a short distance away, wondering if something nefarious had transpired. Was the well cursed now? Uncertain of its safety but unwilling to completely write the well off, he walked briskly up to it once others had cleared out and quickly dropped his coins in with a hasty retreat. If anything came up he'd send Onion to retrieve it once at a safer distance.

A night-time escape, the cloaked hollow made his way towards the well. A rare occasion this was--in fact, he couldn't recall the last time he'd so childishly snuck free of his home and crept towards the mystical wishing well. Did he even have many wishes anymore? He gazed down into the water, his own glowering face reflected in the water deep within. He wondered if there was a bottom. Never had he seen the millions of bi that surely had to have gathered at the bottom. Perhaps the well itself was an Elder, forgotten, given form and magic only through the offerings of those who forgot their very name. Well then...perhaps an offering is all he--or anyone else-- can offer.

This day, ordinary for so many others, was VERY special for Kàvu. It marked his true beginnings in the world of commerce, as well as the start of his full independence as a culinary artist. He had risen at dawn to set up his mobile stall and make sure everything was perfectly ready to delight his very first customers.
By chance, he had been given a spot right across from a charming little bakery. What luck. He could grab a little something to snack on every day before starting his own preparations. And... all of this might even have sparked an idea in his mind... But for now, he had to make sure that luck would stay on his side ! So he pulled a few coins from his pocket, whispered a prayer to the well, and tossed in his offering. From this point on, everything depended on him. " Let’s go make as many taste buds dance as possible without delay. " And off he went, back to his business, his heart lighter and more joyful than ever. What a perfect day.
