Wonderous Wishing Well
The wishing well is a random, raffle-based activity. Once a month every player can throw in coins to wish for a prize! Every wish will win something, with rewards ranging from coins to familiar items or aesthetic items. The most valued prize is the Elder's Tear. Ready to try your luck?
To play, choose a character, the number of coins you'd like to toss into the well, and provide a short story (2-5 sentences) describing how your character places their coins into the well.

With light but wary steps, Jinsoyun stepped toward the magnificent well buried beneath the vines of the forest she had heard many speak of. She watched the glistening water for a few moments, its reflection rippling among the memories of a bygone era. Taking a few coins from her worn purse, she closed her eyes, murmuring a silent wish carried on the breeze over her devotion to have a companion who would aid her in her solitary life. Slowly, she dropped the coins into the water, each one echoing like a whispered promise to the elders. Then, without a word, she faded into the shadows of the trees, her heart heavy with hope.

Eil stood infront of the well and dropped in her monthly bi, watching it sink to the bottom. She wondered what she'd get this month from the magic structure. She smiled, dipping her fingers into the warm liquid. She began to tell the well about her month and smiled. "Thank you for listening friend."

Nanuq made the monthly trek to the well, enjoying the signs of spring along the way. He always enjoyed making this trip each month, and the trek had become something of a ritual. It was an opportunity to get out and be one with nature, and interact with a few Shiji along the way. Once he arrived at the well, he fetched some coins out of his backpack, whispered his wish, and tossed the coins into the well.

Sihu was on her way back from the market, looking thoughtful as she ran into the wishing well again. Maybe she should make a jingle this time for luck? "Toss a Bi for your wishing, oh wondrous well, oh wondrous well!" Okay, maybe that was a little cheesy, but she thought the Well would appreciate the gesture! Maybe? She tossed in a few extra bi into the well just in case.

Frongles was on his way back from causing trouble - and nearly getting caught. He wasn’t sure what he was planning on getting up to next, but he knew one thing for sure: He wanted to wish for luck. He hadn’t left home in a while, and was planning on going on an adventure. So he grabbed some coins, tossed them into the well, and wished for good luck during his upcoming adventure. Feeling hopeful, he turned on his heel and made his way home to prepare for his trip.

Yet again Nodd returned to the well, giving it a scrutinizing once over and then the area around him. Dead quiet, the sun a mere orange sliver on the horizon. Taking a couple bi into his hand, he gave a thoughtful chuff and flicked the coins down into the shimmery abyss to see what would happen.

Sybil cautiously approached the wishing well, tightening her hood to keep hidden from other Shiji so she wouldn't get recognized. Satisfied with the lack of others surrounding the well, she dropped her hood and stared at the waters, "Wonder if you've chosen to also forsake us as well." Her tone teasing as her spectral hair swirled around, the scales catching as she tossed in some coin and watched the water ripple in anticipation.

"Either you have some awfully rank water in your depths, or you grant really fantastic wishes." she said with skepticism as she approached the well. "Alright, WoNdErOuS wIsHiNg WeLl," she mocked, tossing a bi down into its depths, "Let's see if you live up to your name."

It had been so long since Kioshi had been to visit the Well. The Shiji peered over the edge curiously, smiling back at the shimmering reflection that peaked out. He wasn't meant to be out for long, his mom would start worrying otherwise, so the tailor adjusted the bolts of fabric in his arms to snatch a single Bi from his purse. He knew that *certain people* in the family would scoff at his childishness, but Kioshi didnt care. A little bit of magic never hurt anyone, right?
