Wonderous Wishing Well
The wishing well is a random, raffle-based activity. Once a month every player can throw in coins to wish for a prize! Every wish will win something, with rewards ranging from coins to familiar items or aesthetic items. The most valued prize is the Elder's Tear. Ready to try your luck?
To play, choose a character, the number of coins you'd like to toss into the well, and provide a short story (2-5 sentences) describing how your character places their coins into the well.

“Mom, mom, mom, well, well, well!” Chirped Rasmus as he bounded up to the structure he’d now associated with child-like whimsy and glee. He’d already begged and pleaded for a coin for the well on the walk into town. “I wish for my momma’s wish to be granted,” he barely got the words out before tossing the coin down into the shimmering water, tail buzzing with anticipation.

Neytiri took her monthly trip to the well, coins heavy in her pocket. Upon reaching the mystsical waters, she unhooked her coin pouch and and tipped them into her hand. Neytiri dropped them into the water, watching them disappear beneath the surface to their unknown destination.

Today was a big day! BiangBiang had finally been inducted into the Purple Crew! A group of other shiji who all sported similar light purple coloration like himself! To celebrate, he went to the Wishing Well and tossed in a couple coins as thanks for his dream coming true! Wait, what you mean that's not how it works?

It wasn't often that Io ventured out from her home, nonetheless to Tianshu. But she heard of an intriguing plant that grew near a wishing well that she needed to see for herself. Hidden in the cover of darkness, she carefully slunk out towards the stone structure, perching herself on the well and stretching her neck out to see if she could see anything unusual. A curious thing, it was, the stone feeling strange beneath her form. Taking out a bi, she prepared herself to toss it into the chasm. Snapping to attention at a noise, she lost her coin and it fell, the wish stuck inside of her head as she nervously fled.

Walking in no hurry, Kraehe came to the well to avoid some more stressful things on her agenda. She leaned up against the edge and sighed, hoping a little magic would help her get through the rest of the week. Without much thought, she tossed some bi in and casually swayed her tail in anticipation.

This was her first time to the well, she was curious about it and wanted to know just what the fuss was about. So here she was looking into the well it's self and peering into the darkness where she assumed there was water some where down there. A few coins rested in her right hand and she played with them a little, rolling them around in her hand and sort of jingling them as she thought about what she needed to and should do with said coins. She knew what was expected and so without further hesitation she would lean over the edge of the well and one by one drop the coins into the darkness of the well with a bit of a smirk on her face as she did so. She didn't wish for anything too strange, just something special is all. Who knew if it would actually come true or not.

Frongles dragged his paws as he walked over to the well. He had gotten burned today - quite literally - by a Shiji who had discovered him attempting to make off with one of their Valuables. Frongles grumbled under his breath, and dropped in a few coins.

As Salem approached the well he was very skeptic about doing this. He had never made a wish before, but as he got closer to the well hope started to fill his heart. He closed his eyes, made his wish and dropped the coin into the well with a smile of hope.

Phaira approached the well with timid grace and preternatural silence. A single coin glinted from between her thumb and index claws. Her turquoise eyes darted about warily. She'd carefully selected a time when she didn't scent or sense any others around. Her long, flowing platinum fur splayed about the surface behind her as she made her way to the stony edge of the well. She extended her hand and huffed a held breath as she released the coin, trying not to dare a glimmer of hope. Yet her eyes glinted with interest as a small splash echoed below.
