A Test of Balance and Strength

Nia and Suu new this was their time to shine after seeing the umpteenth match tumble off ths netting without even getting a swing at one another. The fight was simple on paper. Balance on a thin net suspended over the water and use the padded staff to try and knock on your opponent off. But once you were up on the netting, fighting not only your own balance but also you opponents, it was all different. Nia had watched his father triumph over his brothers mate, Storge in a test of wills. Now it was his turn to continue to show that his father's martial blood ran through him as well in a match against his own mate.

The two grinned at one another across the netting as even the slightest breeze threatened their balance. And once the call went out...he dashed forward to clash staffs against his match!
